Miss Michelle, Miss Jessica & Miss Sandra Lee
|
Precision Dance Academy is owned and operated by 3 partners who have been dancing together since they were 3 years old. Jessica Phalon, Michelle Toale and Sandra Lee Meacham are all well-rounded, experienced dance teachers and choreographers who share one common trait; their love and passion for dance and the Performing Arts. The partners have performed, choreographed and produced many shows, including two shows at the world-famous Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and the Brooks Atkinson Theater, all in NYC. They have also produced many recitals, which have been compared to Broadway shows because of the elaborate scenery, props, dancing, singing and acting. The PDA staff has graduated with degrees in physical education, exercise science and education certifications. Staying current on Dance technique and advanced methods of choreography in teaching is a priority for their students' education. The students from PDA have graduated and starred in high school and college plays, musicals, become varsity cheerleading and dance team members, and college dance team captains. We provide the perfect combination of discipline, professionalism and a loving, friendly atmosphere. All of our students will agree that PDA is like one, big happy family!

Miss Michele
Michele began dancing before the age of 3 and has not stopped since. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical growing up and decided to continue her dance education by attending Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, earning a BFA degree in Dance. While at MGSA Michele expanded her studies with Modern dance and Improvisation and began performing with University Danceworks, the department’s touring company. Upon graduation she began teaching at a local studio. Six years later Michele became the Owner and Artistic Director of On the Move Performing Arts Center where she was honored to teach so many wonderful dancers for the next 12 years. A wife and mother of two, Michele began teaching Enrichment dance classes in her children’s school district. Her dance path led her to meeting and working with Miss Michelle, and now, here to PDA. Michele has a love for dance and a passion for sharing that love, fueled by her students. |
Miss Camryn
Miss Camryn started dancing when she was 2 years old. She studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical at Linda D’Amico’s Academy of Dance, and as she got older, tap, jazz, and lyrical were her favorites. In high school, Camryn choreographed 5 numbers for Faith Center for the Arts’ production of Godspell and realized that she loved teaching dance. She currently studies business administration at the County College of Morris, but kept dance in her life by teaching at Claim to Fame: Community of the Arts. She is excited to bring her love of dance and teaching to the students at PDA. |
Miss Melissa
Miss Melissa has been dancing with Precision Dance Academy ever since she was 4 years old! She studied tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and musical theater, and she is currently dancing with PDA in the adult classes. During her years at PDA, Melissa was fortunate enough to dance on the stages of Lincoln Center—once at Alice Tully Hall and twice at Avery Fisher Hall. She also danced at Hershey Park and was featured in many solos throughout the years. Melissa is also a performer and choreographer with community theaters in the northern New Jersey area. Melissa is currently a special education preschool teacher, and she possesses a master’s degree in Special Education. She is thrilled to continue her journey at PDA and share her love of theater and performing with her students! |
